This site is dedicated to Basil Slaughter who pioneered Local History research in Bulmer and the surrounding Villages.

During his lifetime he meet many people in Bulmer area whilst researching history. Such was his dedication he recorded much of the information about these people, which has now been transcribed by one of our memmbers Sandy Burbidge in alphabetical order.
