Robert Jackson lived at Finch Hill, Bulmer in 1913.  Robert was a staff sergeant with the 16th  (The Queens), Lancers in France.  He is believed to have been a regular soldier

His father was George Jackson, and his sister Edith married Frank Gobby. His wife Blanche was probably the daughter of William Sargent,  also of Finch Hill

He was killed on 12/04/1917 and is buried in grave ref. O. VIII. H.6. at St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France
